Beacon (Little light of fire)

Reliable, thoughtful, and endlessly kind—Beacon is my compass. She’s my current teammate and steady light through hard seasons. On course, she reads space like a map and trusts our connection without hesitation. Off course, she makes sure I never forget to slow down and breathe. Our partnership is just beginning, but already she reminds me that trust isn't built in the ring—it's earned everywhere else.

Savvy (Sav-star)

The heart of our pack. Savvy is joyful, intuitive, and always game for anything—from backyard frisbee to hiking the East Coast Trail. She brought a playful chaos to the team that made me laugh (and occasionally sprint). Her agility career taught me to embrace spontaneity and trust the process—even when it was sideways. Now retired, she continues to remind me that joy is the best metric for progress.

Gossip (Super-G)

Brilliant and bold, Gossip was my wild child—fiercely independent and dazzlingly talented. She was a master of precision, timing, and reading a course faster than I could walk it. She challenged me to sharpen my skills, tune my timing, and let go of overthinking. Training her wasn’t always easy, but it was always worth it. Gossip taught me that greatness doesn’t come from control—it comes from meeting talent with respect.

recess (little red rocket)

My soul sister and first international teammate. Recess was fierce, focused, and full of heart. She thrived under pressure and always brought her best to the line. More than any other dog, she showed me the power of true partnership—where communication is effortless and connection is everything. With her, I learned to lead with clarity, handle with intention, and celebrate every run like it mattered (because it did).

Maddie (SCHMAddigan)

Sensitive, sweet, and always trying to get it right—Maddie was the spark that pushed me to become a more thoughtful, intentional handler. She didn’t want flash or fanfare—she wanted consistency, kindness, and calm. Her sensitivity helped me grow as a teacher and reminded me that great communication starts with listening.

Bailey (Rockstar)

The OG. My first teammate. Bailey was confident, curious, and willing to try anything. She laid the foundation for a lifetime in dog sport, teaching me what it meant to train with purpose and compete with heart. She was rock solid in every way—on course, in life, and in memory. Everything that came after started with her.
